BELFAST – Talk about an experiment gone wrong. A man in Northern Ireland was arrested after he tried turning a pile of poop into gold. As Yahoo News reports, Paul Moran left his own faeces and a fertilizer on a heater. He presumably went off to do some other ‘business’ afterwards. Presumably for too long, as everything caught fire and caused damages worth £3,000.
“It was an interesting experiment to fulfil the alchemist’s dream, but wasn’t going to succeed” said Mr. Moran. He will now spend three months in jail to think about what went wrong with his experiment.
