LOS ANGELES - American porn industry risks being shut down. A porn actor, whose name has not been disclosed yet, has been found HIV positive. It is not the first time that US porn industry happens to be in this situation. Porn actors and actresses want the name to be disclosed, this is what Mike South, big in the industry, said: “People may have had casual sex with him at parties and they don’t know about this or people could have shot scenes with him and not even known it”.
Derrick Burts, 24, a porn actor diagnosed with HIV in late 2010 said about the matter: “They lure you in with the promise that you’ll make all this money and have a really great lifestyle, with testing monthly and only working with other performers who were testing.”
